Honor Flight

Charley Barnes is doing an amazing job on his 10,000 mile in 10 day mission for Honor Flight. He has now gone from the Canadian Border to the Mexican border in less than 24 hours and then coast to coast in 2 days.

Giving you a quick update on Charley's ride. Charley left the Canadian border yesterday morning about 7 am and made it all the way to the Mexican border in less than 24 hours.

The day has come. Charley Barnes took off this morning at 8 for his 10 day 10,000 mile road trip to raise money for Honor Flight. He will return next Saturday after riding all across this country to honor those who have served. You can follow Charley on his journey by clicking the link below...

I announced early this week that I am taking off on a motorcycle adventure to raise money and awareness for Honor Flight. It's working. Ohio is now on board.

I have done a lot of PR stunts in my radio days but nothing as adventurous as what I am about to do in June to benefit Honor Flight Northern Colorado.

Well, it's October 1st and our Government has effectively shut down, hundreds of National Parks have been closed including the War Memorials in Washington D.C. That however, did not stop a Mississippi Honor Flight crew from visiting anyway.

The Honor Flight Northern Colorado send off was yesterday morning at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. We have videos and pictures from the event to honor our true American heroes.

The 2013 Northern Colorado Honor Flight has special meaning for myself and especially every active member of the Patriot Guard and if you have never seen an Honor Flight escort you should make plans for tomorrow, Sunday May 5th.

On Thursday night I had the opportunity to see a sold-out showing of "Honor Flight". It was a deeply moving documentary about the Honor Flight program in Wisconsin, which is very similar to Honor Flight Northern Colorado. I have have always had an appreciation for our veterans, but after seeing "Honor Flight", my appreciation has grown stronger and deeper than ever before.
