"Honor Flight-The Movie" schedules 2 more showings due to high public demand. If you didn't get a chance to see it the first several showings, you aren't alone.  Don't miss one of the best documentary pieces you'll ever see.

The Honor Flight movie was originally shown in Ft Collins at the end of January and tickets sold out before it was even announced; 3 Days and they were gone. The Kress Cinema in Greeley also showed the film and it's second showing last week sold out in two days.

So it was just announced that on February 28th, the Fort Collins Lyric Cinema Café will show the Honor Flight movie again at 7:00 PM (in both theaters) and then in Greeley at The Kress Cinema on March 5 at 7:30 PM.

Hundreds of Larimer and Weld county veterans have made the "Honor Flight" journey since the initial flight in September of 2008. As of today, 9 flights have taken 1189 WWII veterans to Washington DC.

In 2011 Honor Flight - Northern Colorado became one of the first hubs in the nation to include Korean War era veterans, plus recipients of the Purple Heart (wounded in combat) from any wars, including Iraq and Afghanistan.

"Honor Flight-The Movie", is a superb 2012 documentary about the national program being carried out by volunteers in some 40 states including Colorado. The Honor Flights take WWII veterans from across the U.S. to Washington, DC, to visit their memorials at no no cost to the Veteran.
