Thanks to a fire sprinkler, a fire at a Fort Collins business park was contained and did not spread yesterday morning. Poudre Fire Authority Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming off the roof and a fire alarm sounding at at Berken Energy, In the Prospect East Business Park at 2400 Midpoint Drive.

If you are wondering about that smoke west of Fort Collins over the weekend, about 1 ½ acres burned near Davis Ranch Road and Rist Canyon Road on Saturday afternoon.   The Larimer County Sheriff’s Department reported that a shed or barn and a trailer were destroyed in the blaze and nobody was injured. Thanks to the Poudre Fire Authority and Rist Canyon Fire, the blaze is now 100% contained. Read M
