Forty-two firefighters from the Poudre Fire Authority, Loveland Fire Rescue, and the Wellington Fire Protection District battled for almost an hour to get a three-alarm fire under control yesterday morning in Fort Collins. No was injured in the fire at the Buffalo Run Apartments, on East Lincoln Ave.

Of the 24 units in the building, six were heavily damaged, four had moderate damage and two others had light smoke and water damage.  The fire caused more than $400,000 of damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
