Terri Bennett is my new hero. She did what I would hope anyone else would do as an American. But her simple request got her suspended from college. This gives ridiculousness a whole new meaning and personally, someone should be fired over this!

Today, news comes out from Texas Senator Ted Cruz who exposed a flaw in a 1200 page bill that would allow the IRS to fine companies $5000 by hiring legal citizens over someone with RPI (Registered Provisional Immigrant) status. How could this possibly be true, honestly.

Along comes another edition of "Vickie's Corner" and this week she seems upset. I admire her honesty and fact driven blog and just as I invited her to share her thoughts on my blog page, I always welcome those who oppose her views to share them as well in a well thought out and professional way. Now that the smoke has somewhat cleared from the last legislative session, many county commissioners (not including Larimer county) are devising a plan to start a new state and will be asking for our votes this November.

Carrie Underwood has responded to a suggestion made by Tennessee State Representative Andy Holt that she should stick to singing instead of politics and lawmaking. At issue is the Livestock Cruelty Prevention Act, known as the Ag-Gag Bill to critics like the country singer, the ASPCA and the Humane Society of the United States.

I catch a little heat once in awhile on my stance on gun control but only because I think with my head and not my heart. If you don't think what is happening in New York can't happen in Colorado, you are mistaken.
