So a bus pulls up in front of K99 yesterday and 3 musicians pile out along with a driver and a record company guy. I honestly didn't know much about these guys, but I did know the name of their band was "Due West".  A handful of us were in for a very pleasant and head-bobbing surprise!

Life is a rocky road. I believe the ride is rough because of all the stones we encounter in life. Life is full of stones. We start by being brought into this world with a birthstone. A colored jewel to show the month we were born in and to celebrate the beginning of a new life. As the birthstone ages a bit we begin playing with stones and start skipping stones. Every man is born with a Guy Card. Some of us just can't can't seem to hold on to ours.  Over the years I have had a number of Guy Card violations. Yes, at times I have done things that could be considered less than manly.  I did just that again yesterday.

It was a sad day at the house yesterday. We are mourning the loss of Wall-e the fish. Last Friday my grandson Zander got his first pets of his own. He got 2 gold fish and he and his mom named them Dory and Wall-e. He loved sitting at the table and watching his new buddies swim around...

My wife and I love to travel.  Because we don't have kids, and we have friends who live half way around the World, we have been able to save up some money and visit some very cool places.  We are also the dorks you would see pretending to hold up or push over the leaning tower of Pisa in a photo. I have put together a few pictures to showcase that dorkiness.

Remember the old saying, “it’s not whether you win or lose it’s how you play the game”? We have always been told that since we were kids. The problem with that phrase is that it doesn’t mean anything in today’s business world. The lesson from that saying has always been to play the game with class and integrity which means more than what the scoreboard shows at the end of the game. I still believe

Today my wife has to say goodbye to her coffee buddy Fritz. Fritz was 96 years old and one of my wife’s best buddies. She has always been great with our seniors and loves the coffee conversations she has with our elders. Our seniors have so much to offer and always have great stories and wisdom to offer. Listen closely to them.

What a great day yesterday! Todd and I went to Livermore Elementary School and Red Feather Elementary School to read Dr. Seuss books to students. There is nothing more enjoyable then having a room full of children sitting in front of you listening to a story.

We work with some amazing people at K99 and they have incredible families...and some really cute kids.  Josh is the guy you see at the front desk when you pick up a prize you won on K99 . His 2-year-old daughter Kaydee is a cutie.   Josh shared a video of her riding a vacuum cleaner while her mom was cleaning up at home.  He told us we can share it with you.

Chaos surrounds me. I love a nice, quiet, drama free day but they rarely happen. My house is a house of activity and noise. I have 3 dogs(Oprah, Mini and Chevy), a daughter, wife and grandson all running around the house and that creates a bit of a stir...

Mrs. Elissa Pitts is this week’s Teacher Tuesday Winner. Mrs. Pitts is a math teacher at Poudre High School in Ft. Collins. I made the presentation yesterday before a very enthusiastic group of students. If there were an award handed out for most school spirit during a Teacher Tuesday award presentation, these kids would have won it.

Today is February 29th or Leap Day!  We have a friend that was born on Leap Day, so tonight  is her 13th birthday party. (She is really in her 50s) We leaped some stuff in a video for your enjoyment,  but first: Let's explore why we  add an extra day to our calendar every 4 years?
