Join me this Saturday at Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson as we kick of the Monster Bash with the annual Monster Ride. Proceeds benefit the 28 Hours of Hope.
November means turkey and a chance to salute our Veterans on the 11th each year. Journey 4 Justice will again have an entry and all motorcycle's are welcome to attend.
Join myself and Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson on Saturday October 26th for two great events all rolled into one. It's what you might call a Monster of a good time and proceeds from the Monster Ride all go to the 28 Hours of Hope.
The Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run is coming up on Sunday December 22nd but there is a hitch in our giddy up and we need your help and advice. Please read on.
Our very own Danny Joe, who also works at Chili's in Lovleand, has come through once again to help our old friend Bob Hosier who recently passed away. Chili's will be donating a portion of their proceeds from October 28th and 29th sales.
Several of the K99 staff buried a good friend on Wednesday and this Sunday we will honor Bob Hosier with "one last ride" to go place a roadside marker at the site he was killed at. This is an open parade ride for anyone who owns a motorcycle and would like to help one of their own.
One of my favorite motorcycle groups is the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. This is truly one club that you can't just join; unless you have been in combat and shot at. Quite the pre-requisite isn't it. Now, they are seeking ALL veteran clubs and organizations for a big yearly event starting in 2014.
Today is a very hard day for me. Truth be told, it's one of the hardest days of my life so far. Today is the first time I have had to cope with the loss of a dear friend and brother in many ways. A simple ride to work, like every other day, was his last this morning.
Wednesday marks the 12th anniversary of the worst act of terrorism on U.S. soil. There is also controversy broiling in Washington D.C. on groups participating in marches on the city, namely, the Muslin March and the '2 Million Bikers To D.C.' event. One was granted a permit and one was not.
The next Northern Colorado Honor Flight is scheduled for Sunday, September 15th. You've heard me talk about them now for several years and if you have never done one, you have no idea what you're missing out on. The format this year though is very different.
“Some Gave All and All Gave Some” is a slogan you know I mention every single Monday and it has special meaning for those at the Evans VFW #6624. In fact, it means so much to them, they honor it every year with a very special event in honor of one of their own.
