Of course, being a kid, I had to do what kids do and try drinking a beer. I couldn't do it. There was something about it that just didn't sit well with me. As an adult, I enjoy a beer or two, especially after mowing the lawn on a hot Northern Colorado summer day.

Speaking of Coors, they are making a comeback. It's not like they ever left, but you would think that legal drinking age Gen Z'ers would be leaning more towards drinks such as White Claw or other alcoholic seltzer waters, right? Wrong.

According to Molson Coors, the Colorado-based, 150-year-old brand is the fastest growing beer brand for legal drinking age Gen Z is Coors Banquet. According to the Circana Reciept Panel in the last 52 weeks, Coors Banquet has seen a 32 percent increase in Gen Z versus the previous year.

Molson Coors says that the appearance of Coors Banquet in shows like Yellowstone and promotions such as Live Like a Dutton have helped catapult the brand into the hands of legal drinking age Gen Z'ers.
