I have now been doing these weekly 'honor posts' for over two years now. In that time span, this is the longest we have gone without losing any troops.
Another week goes by as many forget we are at war. Two families have been given the ultimate reminder and will never forget. Neither will I...Rest In Peace.
Operation Enduring Freedom slumbers into another year but this week all good news from overseas with no loss of American life. Enjoy your freedom? Thank a vet.
2013 is in the books and we all want to know when the war in Afghanistan will cease. We lost 127 troops last year and for what's at stake, that's 127 too many!
As we get ready to close out another year, Operation Enduring Freedom continues with no end in sight. While we spend time with out loved ones this holiday season and ready ourselves for 2014, lest us not forget the families that have sacrificed for us.
Afghanistan, it was in fact six troops from the United States Army who lost their lives. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers again are extended to these families.
Sadly, the loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' It was Lance Cpl. Matthew R. Rodriguez who went way above and beyond to defend the honor of our great nation.
Operation Enduring Freedom continues with no real end in sight but we have at least gone another full week without anyone losing their life. Again, it's nice to not play "Angel Flight" today; for all the right reasons. No matter what it is you're doing today, you're doing so because of a United States Veteran. Please make it a point to thank at least one this week.
Sadly, the loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' Since last Monday’s post, we have brought home another soldier from the United States Army.
