28 Hours Of Hope

This is going to be a very emotional 28 Hours of Hope this year. Just the fact that I am here to do it after the health scare I had this year make me emotional. I have 2 beautiful grandchildren with a 3rd on the way and that makes the beauty of a child very fresh in my brain.

I am proud of a lot of things. One thing I am most proud of is being a part of the 28 Hours of Hope for the last 16 years and watching Brian and Todd's magic.

The 28 Hours of Hope is coming up Thursday. We will once again stay on the air for 28 hours, raise money for abused children and interview a boatload of stars. I love getting to talk to the people that entertain me. I am often moved and sometimes brought to uncontrolled laughter.

The most important thing I will do all year is coming up on Thursday. The 28 Hours of Hope will begin on Thursday at 5 am and go until 9 am on Friday. We will give you our all to do everything we can to raise money for the our cause to help abused children in Northern Colorado.

The guest list for the 16th Annual 28 Hours of Hope is starting to shape up. It's less than two weeks away on March 27 and 28.

It is hard to believe that 3 weeks from today Todd and I will begin our 16th annual 28 Hours of Hope. We began this labor of love to try to make a difference in the life of abused children in Northern Colorado.

The 16th Annual Good Morning Guys 28 Hours of Hope is March 27th-28th, 2014 on K99. Brian and Todd will stay on the air for 28 consecutive hours and raise money and awareness for child abuse prevention.

I honestly don't have the vocabulary to express how grateful I am to everyone who help make the the 15th annual 28 Hours of Hope a tremendous success. The finally tally isn't in yet, but we know it was over 76 thousand dollars when we left on Friday morning.

We ended up raising nearly $80,000 with this years 28 Hours of Hope and I can't say thank you enough. What an event it was. I am so honored that we get to do this each year and feel what is the heart of northern Colorado. We live in an amazing community of giving people.

We have received reports of people all over town today collecting money in one form or another for the 28 Hours of Hope. One woman that we call the "Lama Mama" decided to bring her animals over to Windsor this morning to help raise money on Main Street.

28 Hours of Hope, a tradition with a cause. The Good Morning Guys give their all for this event. The months, days and hours dedicated to the event all go unseen. Todd and Brian handle the meat of the event and a few chosen add the supporting materials to create what has grown to be a huge success every year.
