28 Hours Of Hope

As we started the 28 Hours of Hope this morning, we received a visit from the family of Mary Ann Miller of Greeley who passed away one week ago today. Mary was a long-time K99 listener and supporter of the 28 Hours of Hope through the Good Times Car Club of Greeley. She was only 66 years old when she passed away on March 21, 2013.

The 15th Annual 28 Hours of Hope kicked off this morning at 5AM as Brian & Todd raise money to help abused children in Northern Colorado. Here are some photos from this morning and we'll be adding more as we move throughout the day today and tomorrow morning!

The 28 Hours of Hope is a very special time for all of us here at K99, but we wanted to give you a special look at what goes on behind the scenes. Some of it's humorous, some of it's serious and some of it is downright heartbreaking on a day like today. We'll bring you bits of it all throughout the 28 Hours of Hope as it happens.

Make no mistake about it. Brian and Todd, AKA The Good Morning Guys, have been entertaining people for over two decades and what they have done in just the last 15 years is mind-boggling.

This is Super Bowl week for me. I have achieved many things in career but creating the 28 Hours Of Hope is the greatest thing I have been a part of. I was fortune to be raised by the most wonderful parents a child could ask for so I cannot imagine the horror of child abuse.

The 15th Annual 28 Hours of Hope is less than a week away. Some big name Nashville stars have already signed up to be on the air with Brian and Todd this year. We have that list for you.

The 15th Annual 28 Hours of Hope is quickly approaching and we need your help! We hope to raise more money to assist charities that aid abused children in Northern Colorado than we have in any year previously, but that means having more people and local businesses give than ever before.

The 28 Hours of Hope has grown to achieve great success thanks to the generosity of our listeners over the years. Charlie Worsham is a Nashville newcomer that we are excited to have on our 15th Annual 28 Hours of Hope. We are especially excited because he will be live in the K99 studio during the event.

On their way to raising over $70,000 in the fight against child abuse, Brian & Todd interviewed well over 30 guests during their 14th Annual 28 Hours of Hope.  Some of the highlights included interviews with Jason Aldean, Charlie Daniels, Josh Turner, Kenny Rogers, The Band Perry, Clint Black, Rodney Atkins, Big Kenny and many, many more.   We have audio of many of the interviews from Thursday
