A Chinese woman chugged an entire bottle of expensive cognac to beat airport security rules, becoming too drunk to fly.

Identified only by her surname, Zhou was told she was not allowed to take the $200 bottle of Remy Martin XO Excellence she bought in the United States on board a flight from Beijing to Wenzhou. So rather than letting it go to waste, she drank the entire bottle.

Airport security declared Zhou too drunk to fly and was denied entry to the plane at Beijing Capital International Airport.

Zhou began shouting and screaming incoherently before collapsing and rolling on the floor. That's when airport security stepped in.

"She was so drunk...she couldn't even stand up," an airport officer told the South China Morning Post. "We took her to a room in a wheelchair so she could rest."

Zhou was released to family members after sleeping off the alcohol and thanked police for taking care of her.
