Colorado Top 5 in Nation for Time Spent Drunk During Pandemic
Americans aren't just sleeping less during the pandemic, they're drinking more.
A new survey of 3,000 Americans (over 21) by the American Addiction Centers found that on average adults spent 172 hours drunk during the lockdown.
South Dakota logged 468 hours which is equivalent to 19 days, 12 hours.
Colorado logged 337 hours equaling nearly 14 days.

Not only do 14 percent of Americans say that they’re drinking enough to get drunk more often than they were before the pandemic, but approximately 1-in-5 hide our drinking habits from our significant other.
Another survey, by Morning Consult, one-in-four Millennials overindulge and approximately one-in-five Gen Xers upped their alcohol intake.
The American Heart Association is concerned about Americans' alcohol intake so they issued a warning regarding the increased risks for liver disease, obesity, breast cancer, depression, suicide, accidents as well as cardiovascular problems which include high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, stroke, and heart attack.
