Picking out the perfect pumpkin is an experience in and of itself.

Fall is here and with the arrival of October, it's time to get pumpkin crazy. Pumpkin patches are fun for everyone because they typically aren't just pumpkin patches. Many include other activities like corn mazes, cider and snacks, hayrides, photo opportunities for the 'gram and more. In some cases, it's not even about picking out a pumpkin. It's about family.

So maybe this year, you visit the best patch our state has to offer.

According to Good Housekeeping the best pumpkin patch in Colorado is Diana's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Canon City. It's a bit of a trek for us, but Diana's does offer a fall festival, face painting, three-legged races and more in addition to the pumpkins and corn maze. It's been a fall hot spot for 18 years.

I think the last time I did a three-legged race was elementary school so I might be rusty...
