3 Places to Pick the Perfect Pumpkin in Northern Colorado
Fall is nearly here, and we are getting ready for Halloween. Going to a pumpkin patch is a fun family tradition in Northern Colorado. Here are three pumpkin patches we recommend that are located in Fort Collins, Erie, and Greeley.
Anderson Farms
You can truly plan an entire day around a trip to Anderson Farms in Erie, Colorado. Not only does Anderson Farms provide excellent pumpkins to take home, but the farm offers a ton of attractions for kids.
Some of the attractions:
- Corn Maze
- Tire Mountain
- Pumpkin Cannon
- Barnyard 500 Pedal Karts
- Private campfire sites
And a whole lot more. Check out the full attractions list here.
One of my favorite things about Anderson Farms is that they provide a general store. This store is filled with Halloween decorations, trinkets, and locally produced goods.
This place is where Halloween dreams and romance is born. We came here yearly and have for a decade. If you have not here, you are missing out. I'm still smiling and I'll wake up smiling. - Miatsu K., Yelp.
Opening day is September 20th.

Tigges Farm Roasted Chilies & Pumpkin Patch
If you want to find the perfect pumpkin and get fresh produce, Tigges Farm Roasted Chiles & Pumpkin Patch in Greeley is the place for you. The chilies are grown right at the farm, as well as the other produce.
When we think about green chilies, we typically think about New Mexico. Here is what Tigges Farm said about their green chilies.
Save yourself the long drive to New Mexico and buy the same variety locally. The only difference is they are grown in Colorado and fresher. - Tigges Farm Roasted Chiles & Pumpkin Patch

Our favorite pumpkin patch in northern Colorado! Very good prices, nice selection, and they sell many other veggies and peppers as well. Our personal favorite is the dip mix and we always have to buy enough to last the year! - Christain Nelson, Google Review.
