What are the 100 Deadliest Days? According to CDOT, the most fatal crashes in our state occur within the three months between Memorial Day and Labor Day, which means that the Colorado Department of Transportation has their eagle eyes trained on your vehicles.

With more cars on the road comes more impaired drivers (unfortunately), which means there's always a spike of summer road fatalities.

According to the press release, "last year’s Summer Blitz enforcement period resulted in a total of 584 DUI arrests from 109 agencies across the state. This year’s enforcement period will include 97 law enforcement agencies, who will be using increased patrols to ensure that motorists are safe on the road."

Knowing that we're in that dangerous time of year, it's more important than ever to make sure you're driving responsibly. For more information on the 100 Deadliest Days, head to HeatisOnColorado.com.
