DIA and TSA announced that travelers at Denver International Airport no longer have to remove their shoes while going through security.

“Families on the Fly”: TSA’s New Family Lanes Coming to Colorado?
Well, another change may be coming soon to Denver International Airport that will benefit all travelers, whether you are traveling solo or with a family.
TSA announced that they will be adding new family lanes with their new "Families on the Fly" campaign. TSA says that these new family lanes will be created just for families that are traveling in order to assist families in avoiding stressful travel situations.
What to Expect from the New TSA Family Lanes
You can expect to see dedicated family lanes at airports across the nation within the next few months. Discounted TSA PreCheck fees will also be coming as an option for families.
Denver Isn’t First—But It’s Likely Next
This policy has not started at Denver International Airport quite yet. Five airports across the country will be the first to launch the new program. Other airports plan on trying to implement family lanes within the next few months.

Denver International Airport is one of the largest and busiest airports in the nation. The Colorado airport is typically an early adopter of new rules and regulations from TSA. It is only a matter of time before we see family lanes begin at Denver International Airport.
