Don't Wrap Your Gifts If You're Traveling Through DIA

I know you want to rest when you get to wherever you need to be, but traveling with wrapped gifts might just cause a major headache.

If the gift you got for let's say your grandma, sets off the alarm while you're going through security, then officers will have to open it and inspect it.

All of your hard work wrapping the gift up will be wasted.

Remember How To Store Food When Traveling Through DIA

There are specific rules about what food you can and cannot bring on flights.

If you plan on bringing your famous fruitcake or some candy or chocolates, those go in your carry-on bag. Solid foods are permitted in the cabin.

Any liquids that you might bring like eggnog or champagne needs to be packed in your checked bag.

Real ID is NEEDED When Flying Domestically In DIA

Most Coloradans don't need to worry about this too much. However, just a friendly reminder, you need that Real ID to travel now.

The requirements changed earlier this year for flyers.

Luckily, Colorado drivers licenses have had the REAL ID verification star since 2012.
