A man named Jim Boyd simply dropped his wife off at Denver International Airport. He parked his vehicle and walked her to security. The entire process took 27 minutes. He returned to his vehicle, left the parking lot, and was stunned to see that his card had been charged $19,924. This is according to Yahoo, amongst many other sources.

Software Error Behind the DIA Parking Charge

According to Yahoo, the parking lot accidentally believed that Boyd’s vehicle was parked at Denver International Airport for multiple months. This was a software error. Thankfully, Boyd was immediately refunded.
