When you see a prominent University in Colorado climb up the rankings and achieve a top 10 spot, you probably beam with pride and proclaim your school and state pride to others. When you find out the top 10 ranking is for the best party schools in the country, then your level of exuberance is totally dependent on whether you're a student or a parent paying for this education.

The Princeton Review released their annual "Best Colleges" book recently. They have over 60 different categories in which they ranked colleges across the country by surveying students. I haven't seen the book, but I would guess there were some insightful categories that focused on academics, faculty, and campus resources, just to name a few. But the one category we hear about? Where the best parties are.

Last year, CU-Boulder was barely in the top 20, having finished at 19. With great effort, planning, determination, drinking, partying, drinking, organizing, and drinking, the Buffalo's climbed 12 spots to number 7!
