A recent study by highriskpay.com revealed each state's favorite fries, and the results are a little surprising. According to the study, McDonald's is home to the best French fries in America when it comes to fast food. The place voted the second best is Five Guys, and coming in at third is Chick-fil-A. Many other popular fast food chains made the list, but fell in shocking places. For example, In-N-Out ranked 8th, Burger King ranked 11th, and Jack in the Box landed at 15th. So which fast food chain does Colorado think offers the best French fries?

According to the survey, Five Guys is Colorado's favorite fast food chain for French fries. They can be a tad salty at times, but they are made fresh, you get a good amount, and they are good with or without any kind of condiments. So what makes the perfect French fries? 34% said they prefer thin shoestring-type fries, 16% prefer curly fries, 12% like thick-cut steak fries, and 12% like waffle fries. Which type do you prefer? Depending on which style is your favorite will dictate where you may like to go for the best French fries. When it comes to dipping sauces, 42% prefer ketchup, 12% like Ranch, and 9% prefer to have no dipping sauce.
