Some Colorado First Responders to Carry Food

Denver first responders will soon start carrying non-perishable food items to help feed those in need. According to KDVR, police and firefighters will begin carrying the food in their units to help combat hunger.

The plan is for first responders to get the food from local partners such as food pantries and churches.
