When and Where is the Larimer County Fair This Year?

Everyone enjoys the fair. We all have different reasons for going, but everyone has something they enjoy. It might be the rodeo, the concerts, the carnival, the food, or maybe everything put together. Many of us grew up going to the fair and have fond memories of it, and while some things have changed through the years, many things have stayed the same. Colorado sees many fairs throughout the state, as there is the Colorado State Fair, and many county fairs as well. Fair season is here, and many in Northern Colorado are excited for one particular fair happening soon in the area.

Larimer County Fair in Loveland

It is that time once again. Time to smell the deep-fried food, to see the lights of the carnival rides, and to hear the music and noise of the Larimer County Fair. The fair will kick off on Friday, July 31, and go until Tuesday, August 4. For those who have never been before, you will be excited to hear that parking and entrance into the fair are entirely free. You can walk around and explore the animal buildings, smell the food, enjoy the free concerts, and check out the vendors. You will need to pay for the carnival rides, anything you want to purchase from the vendors, and if you want to attend the rodeo.

What to Know About the Larimer County Fair

If you want to ride the carnival rides at the fair, you have a few options. You can purchase a wristband for all the days for $153.83, or you can get a single day pass for only $54.85. You can purchase tickets to the rodeo for Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, which start as low as $41.24. When attending the fair, know ahead of time that there is a clear bag policy. No bags, backpacks, purses, totes, or camera bags. Diaper bags are an exception, or anything in a bag for medical purposes. Some items that are banned include alcohol, bottles or cans of any kind, chairs or stools, noisemakers, laser pens, and outside food. To see the full list of banned items, you can click this link.
