It's become a tradition for my family to kick off the holiday season. The annual NightLights Tree Lighting Celebration is tonight (Monday, December 1st) at 6pm at 531 South College Avenue, the corner of Mulberry & College in Fort Collins.

Realities For Children invites you to attend this FREE event thaT helps fight child abuse in Northern Colorado. The 50- foot tall NightLights Tree has over 30,000 lights synchronized to holiday music.  Stay warm with hot soup from Qdoba and enjoy photos with Santa, delectable desserts, the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory 3- foot tall Chocolate Santa Giveaway, and the countdown to the spectacular lighting of the NightLights Tree.

This year’s NightLights Tree Lighting Celebration will feature the actual 1919 Dodge Brothers touring car driven by Jimmy Stewart in the 1946 classic Christmas movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life”.  Professionally taken photos of your family with the car, and Santa, will be available for a nominal donation and will be printed on site to commemorate the NightLights Tree's 17th year of service. The car will be on display between 5p-6pm, before the program begins.

How To Sponsor a Light

‘NightLights’ is a Holiday Fundraising Campaign that benefits children in Larimer County who have been abused, neglected or are at-risk.   You can sponsor a light on the NightLights Tree for just $100.  Donate in the name of a loved one, a special child, or make a gift in memory of someone who has passed on.  This is a tax deductible donation and 100% of your gift will be used to provide for the children served by Realities For Children.

Musical Entertainment

The NightLights Tree Lighting Celebration will feature performances by Grammy Award Nominee Vi Wickam, the Magnolia Music Studio Carolers, and ten year old singer/songwriter sensation Emma Marie!
