Party in a Box is Coming to Fort Collins
What if I told you the City of Fort Collins wanted to help you throw your summer party?
The Coloradoan is reporting that Neighborhood Services has two new resources to make your summer even better: the Block Party Trailer and the City Lemonade Stand.
The Block Party Trailer is a “party in a box” that contains many bulky items neighbors might not have easy access to, such as tables, chairs, outdoor games, traffic barricades, trash and recycling bins, and an inflatable movie screen and projector.
The trailer is available to Fort Collins residents for free with reservation. Also, the city will drop off, and pick up the trailer before and after your event. The Block Party Trailer will be available for reservations after April 15. Find out more HERE
The City Lemonade stand is a mobile art piece designed by local artist, Todd Kundla. While serving lemonade, it gives residents the opportunity to experience and interact with the stand itself.
The City Lemonade Stand will make surprise, pop-up appearances in neighborhoods around Fort Collins where city staff will serve up free, ice-cold lemonade and chat with neighbors about city services, projects, or neighborhood issues.
The idea behind both of these tools is to help community members connect with each other in a fun, stress-free way.
