Visit Berthoud This Weekend For a Fun Event
The calendar has flipped to June, and most are now focused on summer activities over the next few months. Weekends will be filled with baseball games, vacations, trips to the lake, fishing, camping, hiking, and being outdoors. All of the above are some of the best parts about summer, but there are other things to look forward to as well. There are tons of events that happen each year in the summer, and for many families, it is a tradition to go to certain ones. One great event is happening this weekend in Berthoud and is filled with tons of fun for the whole family.
Berthoud Day in 2026
Berthoud Day is back and is happening this weekend, Saturday, June 6. The event is filled with many activities and will take place all day. It is essentially a big party throughout the town, with plenty to see, do, and enjoy as a family, a couple, or by yourself. The first activity of the day will be the Berthoud Troop 6 Pancake Breakfast, beginning at 7 AM and lasting until 10 AM. The breakfast will be at 600 Third Street. After that, the Berthoud Day 5K will begin at 8:45 AM. It is $30 per runner or walker, and it starts at PO Box 1709 in Berthoud. After the 5K, there is the 73rd annual Berthoud Day Parade, which begins at 10 AM. This may seem like a lot, but there is so much more taking place after the parade and all day long.
What is Berthoud Day?
After the morning activities, there are tons of things to still do and enjoy, as well as plenty of food to eat. There will be vendors, food trucks, live music, competitions, games, performers, and much more. It is a great way to get out and spend some time as a family, meet your neighbors, and get to know those in your community. Even if you don't live in the Berthoud area, you can still go and enjoy some fun and have a great day outdoors, enjoying the summer sun on a Saturday. There will also be a vintage baseball game at 1 PM, where the Berthoud Blues will play a game similar to how it was played in the 1800s.
