Nanny Catches Woman Clipping Flowers from Denver Residence
A flower thief was caught red handed by a nanny on Monday while snipping flowers from a Denver residence.
Cybil Lucero, 38, is accused of unlawfully entering a residence in the 1400 block of N. Gaylord Street, taking scissors from the victim's kitchen, and using them to cut flowers from a garden at the home.
According to the Denver Police Department's Facebook page, Lucero was confronted by a nanny at the home and exited the house, but remained on the property; she was still there by the time the victim arrived home, and was confronted by them as well.
Responding officers located Lucero in a garage in the 2200 block of E. Colfax Avenue - the stolen flowers and scissors still in her possession.
Lucero was positively identified by the victim and arrested for burglary.
