A 31-year-old man was arrested on Friday, June 4 after he allegedly broke into a woman's home in Fort Collins and proceeded to sexually assault her.

At about 10 p.m. on Friday night, Fort Collins Police said they responded to a report of a burglary taking place on Vivian Court. According to the caller, an unknown male had forced entry into a home and touched a female victim who was in bed.

The victim fought back and the suspect then fled on foot.

Officers searched the surrounding area and were able to locate the suspect hiding nearby. The suspect has been identified as Luis Partida-Perez and was taken into custody on charges of Unlawful Sexual Contact and Second Degree Burglary.

Detectives investigating this case are concerned that other possible victims may exist.
