A Loveland man says he and his daughter are now homeless after their trailer was stolen Sunday morning. The 2009 31’ Jayco Eagle Superlite was stolen from Chris Trimble while he was staying a friend's home in Fort Collins.

According to CBS4 in Denver:

Trimble recently purchased the trailer for $15,000, after going through a divorce. He said he planned to take the trailer to Fremont County, where he plans to build a home.

Trimble said his trailer was there around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, when he went to bed in a friend’s home. He left the trailer plugged in, with blocks holding it in place. When Trimble went outside around 8 a.m., he found the blocks that were under the wheels crushed, tire marks on the roadway, and the extension cord laying in the road.

Trimble said he can no longer move to Fremont County, without a place to stay while he builds his home. He said his daughter was staying with his ex-wife, until he could find out what to do next.
