Loveland’s Ball Joint Was on TV and It Was Delicious [Watch]
What great publicity for a small, hard working, restaurant: Being featured on The Cooking Channel. Watch as they create a delicious-looking Tuscano Ballrito.
I was happy to have let folks know that Ball Joint was going to be on TV, as part of The Cooking Channel's 'Food Paradise' program. It's a Retro Rewind' segment of the show. The restaurant is very unique and deserved the shot at being featured. Now that I've seen Bryan make this Italian-Mexican combination, I'm really rooting for them.
At the beginning of this 'cooking' segment, you see the hosts of the show enjoying the Tuscano Burrito, and dang if it does not look like the best thing ever.
Cut to the man behind it all, Bryon Gon, as he is going to show us how they prepare the dish, which is their signature dish.
Then, Bryan starts with the list of ingredients; you think, 'Milk?' Yes, milk. Really, though, it's the cayenne pepper that he really enjoys about the ingredients.
Then he moves onto the marinara that will smother the Ballrito. As he stirs the simmering butter, onions and garlic, he talks lovingly on how his 'Mimi' would scold him for burning the garlic.
Then he makes a burrito using the meatballs, puts some marina over the meatballs, wraps it up and adds more marinara and cheese on top and bakes it. You start to drool as it comes out of the oven and he finishes the plate and presents his dish.

Here's to hoping that the network publicity pays off for them; I think Loveland needs to hang onto Ball Joint.
