Dairy Queen has come out with a Halloween Menu and NoCo is excited
When I was a kid, I loved ice cream so much. Now I'm an adult, and without official testing, I'm almost positive I have adult-onset IBS.
But this article isn't about me and my fear of long car rides. This story is about ice cream and just how excited I am for the new Dairy Queen Halloween menu. Not excited for myself, of course; I'm excited for the children. Because that's who I am and it's how I live my life.
For the first time since it opened back in 1940, DQ is ready to jump into the Halloween game by introducing a limited-time spooky menu for its customers.
But what's on the menu? What makes it so spooky? Let's take a look.
What's on the menu?
I'm glad you asked. The 2026 Halloween menu at Dairy Queen includes delectable desserts and more.
- The Enchanted Oreo Blizzard — Oreo is always a hit, but what if we tuned it blue, added purple sprinkles, and made it taste like ube? I'm too old to know what ube tastes like, so I looked it up. First, you should know that ube is actually a purple yam. The flavors used to describe ube include sweet potato and vanilla. Hand me the Pepsid because I'm throwing my hat in the ring on this one.
- Bubble Blue DQ Sparkler—this would fall under the "refresher" category. The flavors are blood orange and lemonade with sparkling water and cold foam. Bring the Imodium into my room stat because this sounds like it's worth it.
- The Mystery Blizzard Buddy—this is the only thing on the menu that won't put my digestive system into maximum overdrive. That's because Blizzard Buddies are plush keychains. If your child is like mine, they'll definitely need more stuffie keychains. You can put these guys in between the seats in your car, under your child's bed, or even leave them at a friend's house. All I know is there are 5 characters to choose from, including "Goldie," a rare collectible that, if found, will win you one year of free blizzards. I would literally explode and die.
- Next up, this is a shoutout to all my salty friends. You should definitely try DQ's new chicken dipping sauce, Ghost Pepper. With a smoky and spicy flavor, you'll be in Halloween heaven, especially with this on your chicken strip basket. So mosey over here with a few IB Guard pills, and let's get spicy tonight.
With all of these limited-time flavor options, you can have an entire meal with a toy, but you have to get in before Halloween. And with multiple locations in Northern Colorado, you may not have to go far.
Also, this article isn't an ad. It's just how I write.
