K99 Earns Seven Honors at Colorado Broadcasters 2014 Awards of Excellence

K99 was a finalist for seven awards this year at The Colorado Broadcasters Association Awards of Excellence, which were held Saturday night at the Marriott Denver Tech Center. It is the one night of the year where most of your favorite radio and TV personalities gather in one room to honor each other.

It's a fun night, but I think it is rather strange that generally people only cheer for their own stations. I honestly think that tradition needs to change. What's wrong with a little good-sportsmanship?

We won four CBA Awards of Excellence and three Certificates of Merit, which is basically 2nd place. I am so proud to be a part of the K99 team.

K99 received Four Awards of Excellence from the CBA:

• Best Morning Show: The Good Morning Guys - Brian, Todd, and Susan
• Best Website: K99.com - DME Jordan Dawson
• Best Regularly Scheduled Newscast: Susan Moore
• Best PSA: Monster Bash - Jeff Capasso & Pat Kelley

K99 was presented with three Certificates of Merit:

• Best Station Sponsored Community Event: 28 Hours of Hope - Brian Gary & Todd Harding
• Best Regularly Scheduled Entertainment Program: K99 Friday Free For All w/Charley Barnes
• Best Radio Commercial for an Advertiser: Metal Distributors 'Elk Blind' - Paul Wozniak
