Country Radio Hall-of-Famer Todd Harding Says Thank You
It was quite a shock when Brian and I got the call last week informing us that we would be inducted into the Country Radio Hall-of-Fame. We laughed. We cried. Honestly, we couldn't believe it. This YouTube video shows the call from Lon Helton telling us we are in the Hall-of-Fame:
We are very proud of our nearly 30 years at K99, but never expected this. We were both overwhelmed by the response we received from everyone after the big news. We had hundreds of people tell us congratulations on Facebook, Twitter, by e-mail and text. It was really overwhelming.
So, how do I feel? I am overjoyed, surprised, grateful, and a little giddy. Does being in the Hall-of-Fame make me feel old? A little bit. I have to be honest. I thought this was the kind of thing that only old really old people got to experience, but I will take it.
I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks for allowing Brian, Susan, and me the opportunity to get together and play on the radio every morning. We are truly blessed. I appreciate everyone who listens to K99 so much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We couldn't have done it without you.
The Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction and Dinner will be held in Nashville on Wednesday, June 21st, at a location to be announced soon.
I found some pictures from the 1st 25 years of our career. I hope you enjoy them.
