The 2019 GoFundMe Giving Report is out and residents of the Centennial State can pat themselves on the back as being one of the most generous in the nation.

GoFundMe is currently the largest social fundraising group in the world today and looking at the end of year totals, 2019 was another generous year for Colorado. Our state ranks 5th overall in helping dreams come true for individuals seeking funding through the mega website. Breaking it down even further, it looks like Parker, Colorado was the 4th most generous city in the United States in terms of donations to funding requests. See the entire 2019 Giving Report here. 

Some of the largest fundraisers in and around Parker, Colorado included: $350,000 for Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputy Zack Parrish III who passed away in the line of duty. Another $20,000+ for Laurie Davis' "Tap on Cancer" Fund and several other causes in the past year.

GoFundMe's report says the community put together over 120 million donations totaling $9 billion for different causes and organizations since coming online in 2010.
