One of the recent Powerball drawings (Saturday, August 30th 2025) is getting a whole lot of attention here in the Centennial State.

A person who purchased a ticket about 20 miles outside of Denver, is now a couple million dollars richer.

In a report from Denver7, if you were feeling lucky over the weekend and went to King Soopers in Parker at 12959 S. Parker Road, there's a chance that you matched  five numbers plus the Powerplay, winning yourself a cool $2 million.

This person did not win the jackpot prize that is currently worth over a billion dollars.

Colorado Powerball Winning Numbers for August 30, 2025

According to the Colorado Lottery, the numbers that won one lucky Coloradan $2 million are: 3, 18, 22, 27, 33, Powerball 17.

Another Lucky Colorado Lottery Ticket Sold in Colorado Springs

It seems like there's something in the water here in the Centennial State. There was another lucky ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 3805 E. Pikes Peak Avenue in Colorado Springs, according to reports.

Both lucky ticket holders were able to match four out of five numbers, and the Powerball winning $50,000. Then you take into account the Powerplay of x3, so both of these winners are sitting pretty right about now.
