Traveling through Denver International Airport could be an adventure all within itself. The airport is huge, millions of people travel through Denver's airport annually, and if you have ever checked a bag to land in Denver, you know how crazy the experience of retrieving your baggage can be.

Denver International Airport set records in 2024 for the amount of people and bags traveling through the airport. Last year, 82.3 million people were inside the airport and more than 730 tons of cargo passed through the property.

With all of those millions of people and even more bags, there is bound to be some sort of crime happening. According to airadvisor.com, Denver International Airport ranks as one of the worst when it comes to lawlessness in the baggage claim area of Colorado's biggest airport.

It takes an average of 23 minutes for a traveler to leave the gate in a terminal and walk to baggage claim at Denver International Airport. If the bags arrive well before you do at the conveyor belts, your bag is pretty much left unattended. Air Advisor says that there have been 5,800 Google searches regarding lost luggage at Denver International Airport and says that our airport is one that ranks in the top ten list of places where you may be most likely to have your luggage stolen.
