CSU Mascot CAM the Ram Dies Before Rocky Mountain Showdown
The game wasn't Colorado State University's only loss today. The 24th CSU mascot died before the CU Buffs beat the Rams 27-24 in overtime in the Rocky Mountain Showdown. It was just a few weeks ago that we had our picture taken with CAM the Ram, before Lee Brice took the stage at RamFest 2015.
According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan,
The Rambouillet ram was 6 years old. No details were released on how he died. CAM fathered five lambs earlier this year.
The new CAM, No. 25, was on the sidelines for today's football game.
