On Friday, October 10th the Las Vegas Aces secured yet another WNBA championship title. The team took on the Phoenix Mercury in a best of seven game matchup.
Aces swept with four straight wins to dominate and attain their third title win in four years.

The Architect of a WNBA Dynasty
Becky Hammon is the head coach of this legendary team and is highly regarded as one of the best coaches in the WNBA, and pro hoops in general.
The New York Times even called Hammon the "architect of a WNBA dynasty."

From CSU Star to WNBA Legend
She played for the Colorado State University's women's basketball team from 1996 to 1999. During her time at CSU she broke the record for points, field goals, points per game, free throws made, 3-pointers, steals and assists.

Breaking Barriers: Becky Hammon’s Trailblazing Coaching Career
Hammon left college undrafted but went on to play for the WNBA for sixteen seasons.
When she stepped away from playing ball, she stepped into coaching.
The South Dakota native made history with the San Antonio Spurs as the first woman to coach in the NBA full-time.
Subsequently, she went on to become the first woman to serve as head coach in the league in 2020, according to ESPN.
One of the Greatest CSU Basketball Alumni of All Time?
Now, she's widely considered one of the best coaches in the WNBA and one of the greatest CSU basketball alums of all time.
