January is National Radon Action month. Radon can be found in basements all across Colorado and it to be estimated that half of all homes in our state have unacceptable levels of radon.

Radon is suspected to be the cause to around 500 lung cancer deaths every year. If you haven't had a radon test done in your home, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is currently offering free tests. Radon tests are normally around $150 and you could save that money to make a change if there is ahigh level of radon in your home. To find out more about getting a free radon test, you can go HERE.
