Now and then an album comes out that you just can't quit listening to. It happened to me last year with A Thousand Horses 'Southernality" and then a few weeks ago with Old Dominion's 'Meat and Candy' and now I can't get enough of Brothers Osborne and their debut 'Pawn Shop'. These guys are not only incredible artists but may be two of the nicest guys in country music. The whole industry is happy for TJ and John and the success they are having. Their latest single 'Stay a Little Longer' is about to go number one as well. This is going to be a big year for the brothers.

If you were to grab a blender and threw in some Eric Church, Johnny Cash and Bruce Springsteen and then hit the puree button, you would get the sound of 'Pawn Shop'. This disc has a little of everything. You will be hooked from the opening cut 'Dirt Rich' all the way through to the foot stomping finale 'It Ain't My Fault'. In between those cuts you will find songs about life, love and dreams. You will hear the hits "Rum" and "Stay a Little Longer" and many future hits like the ode to past love of "21 Summer" to the Johnny Cash feeling duet with Lee Ann Womack called "Loving Me Back". Wow is all I can say. There are certain tunes that require a higher number on the volume knob like the party anthem "Down Home" or the Willie-esque "Greener Pastures" and you will find it impossible not to shout along to the lyric "..by a cheap gold necklace with a stranger's name at the pawn shop" in the title cut. The song "American Crazy" sounds like something Bruce Springsteen wishes he would have recorded.

Do yourself and your ears and your soul a favor and pick up a copy of Brothers Osborne's 'Pawn Shop' today. You will thank me.
