More than 400 people that live in the area of the Boulder Sunshine fire are allowed to return to their homes today after the fire has been 80 percent contained according to the Denver Post.

The fire appears to have been caused by human activity that has burned over 70 acres. Fighting the fire in Boulder are 178 firefighters and 50 fire trucks. Residents that live in the area that were under mandatory evacuation are now allowed back in. However, proof of identification with them when returning to their homes at the entrance of Boulder Canyon Drive and Sunshine Canyon Road said Gabi Boerkircher who is the spokeswoman for Boulder Office of Emergency Management in the Denver Post article. Currently, there is a fire line around the fire west of Boulder. There is currently a Red Flag warning in the area until 7 p.m. Monday night. UPDATE: The fire is now fully contained
