Angry Wife Aids Colorado Police In Bust Of Husband’s Illegal Operation
It's the ultimate breakup revenge: aiding police in busting your husband and his fake ID operation.
Marcelo Romero Pajarito is now facing 60 felony counts of forgery for his fake ID operation in Denver.
Ana Rosa Valle-Saracay, angered by Pajarito's alleged infidelity and threats, got even by informing Denver police that her husband had been making and selling fake IDs and insurance information for several years.
According to court documents, IDs from New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas were found in the couple's home. Names on the IDs did not match anyone in those states' systems. Police also found blank IDs that contained U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service watermarks.
The affidavit states Valle-Saracay informed police of her husband's operation in mid-August, also telling them that the two had been having marital problems. She also claimed her husband threatened to kill her if she told anyone about his business.
Pajarito was arrested August 13 and formally charged August 27. He posted a $5,000 bond.
