Veteran's Day is Monday, November 11th, and Windsor High School will be honoring our Vets with a special program and the students would love to see a full gym.
November means turkey and a chance to salute our Veterans on the 11th each year. Journey 4 Justice will again have an entry and all motorcycle's are welcome to attend.
Journey 4 Justice will still be in the Loveland Veterans Day Parade even if we have to ski. Nothing else matters to us tomorrow more than paying respect to the hundreds of thousands who have served and died for our country; snow or not. Lets all not forget many of our former soldiers died in worse conditions.
To me, it may be the most important holiday we have. Veteran's Day is Sunday, November 11th. There are no words, medals, gifts, or free meals that will ever fill the debt of gratitude we owe the men and women who have served to keep our country great, but they can help show our thanks. Here is a list of businesses in Northern Colorado who are doing a great thing and offering thanks with free meals
Today is 11/11/11! Veterans Day! It's a day to pay tribute to our veterans! November 11th marks the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. There are a number of events planned in Northern Colorado today through the weekend.
There is no bigger sacrifice than leaving your friends, family, and home to go fight for our country. Almost 1.2 million of our own are currently enlisted in the armed forces, and over 23 million veterans are still alive in the United States today. Restaurants and other businesses are saying thank you on this Veterans Day.
This Friday is a special day for many and I am pretty sure that even if you have never been in the military you know someone who has been or is now. And even if you are that rare person that has never had someone in your life with military ties this should still be a special day for you because of all the soldiers who have died for the freedom we have today in the greatest country in the world.
