It's tournament time for college basketball. The Mountain West, Big Sky, and Pac 12 tournaments are all underway.  The  CU men and women both advanced yesterday.  The CSU women were eliminated from the Mountain West Tournament, and the CSU men play today!

The CSU Rams men's team and the CU men are both considered bubble teams for making the Big Dance, so they both need to win at least a game or two or three in their conference tournaments.

There was more than just madness in Northern Colorado last March when the Northern Colorado Bears made it into the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history, proving this region does love their college basketball. Unfortunately though, after losing key players and quite a few games so far this season, it doesn't look like UNC will return to the dance. Look just to the north though, and

Have you ever wanted to be on the basketball team, but didn't get a scholarship to play.  Here is your chance! The UNC Bears are holding open tryouts for the team.  There is one catch! You have to be a student at the school.

The UNC Bears men's basketball team wrapped up its first Big Sky Conference championship last night with an 84-54 win over Sacramento State at  Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion. The Bears  finished a game ahead of Montana  in this year's Big Sky regular-season race and earned their first conference crown in 21 seasons.

We have reached the most depressing time of the year for me. Football is nearly over. No more Sundays glued to the gridiron. There are just 2 meaningful weeks of football left ,then what will a sports fan do?
