I had the opportunity to play in the Fort Collins Series of Poker "Celebrity Knockout Event" for the the 2nd year in a row over the weekend. Last year I was the top finishing "celebrity". This year, I was the 1st one out! I think we have proven that last year was pure luck....or did I just have bad luck this year?
Good Morning Guy Todd Harding is playing in the Fort Collins Series of Poker “Celebrity Knockout” Charity Event this weekend to benefit The Realities for Children Triumph Awards Endowment Fund! Last year Todd was the last "celebrity" standing, making it to one of the final 2 tables. It proved that yes, there is luck involved in poker. On Sunday, Todd gets to find out if last year was a fluke. You can still sign up to knock Todd out of the tournament!
One of the best local charities I know of is Realities for Children and I always enjoy being a part of helping them reach those seemingly unattainable goals yet they do with the help of great communities like yours. There is a great poker run coming up March 19th starting at Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson that will help ease that pinch just a bit but it's probably not the ride your thinking of.
