Fort Collins Cyclist Wins Bronze Medal at London Olympic Games

A Fort Collins resident won a medal at the London Olympics on Saturday.

Georgia Gould won a Bronze medal in the Mountain Bike Cycling women's race  at Hadleigh Farm in Essex, England.

Former CSU star Janay DeLoach will represent Team USA at the London, Olympics and the entire community is invited to a public sendoff  on Friday (July 20th) in Fort Collins.  The  event is at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at CSU’s Glenn Morris Field House.

Eleven Coloradoans to Compete in London Olympics

When you think of Colorado and the Olympics together most likely you are thinking the winter games. Well, as it turns out, the state is very well represented in this years summer games in London as well. The U.S. Olympic Committee has set their team to compete in London Tuesday and eleven Colorado athletes will take part in the games.

Colorado will be well represented at the 2012 Olympics in London in less than a month.  The biggest star at this years games could end up being teenager Missy Franklin.   There are also members of team USA from CU and CSU.
