I was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. Growing up in such a beautiful area has given me an appreciation for what we have here, and I truly embrace the city and all of Northern Colorado. I graduated from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting with a degree in broadcasting in 2009, and it is a dream come true to be playing music and talking on the radio to all my friends and family in Northern Colorado. I LOVE music, all kinds of music! I also love talking, all kinds of talking! If you think there is a better job for me out there, you let me know! Other than music and talking, I’m a bowler, yes a bowler, I usually get funny looks when I say that. I used to do a lot more of it, but now it's more for fun rather than a job. I am also blessed to have a beautiful daughter, Shai, who was born in June 2008, and love showing her off! My son Quinntyn was born in December of 2010, and although I have learned raising little boys is almost like having another job, I wouldn't trade him for the world. My kids have become my life, and have given me a different outlook on life than I had just a few short years ago. I really believe in the religion of love. Love everyone, be nice to everyone, and smile, and this world will be a great place to live in. I’m addicted to ice cream and donuts, and I’m a firm believer that nothings more important than family, my Dad and Grandma will always be the biggest heroes in my book for the contributions and support they have given me throughout my life. Although life seems chaotic and sometimes even hard, at the end of the day I thank my lucky stars and God for everything I have, and wouldn’t have it any other way. “We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.” ~Frederick Keonig Find me on Facebook or Email me, Id love to hear from you!

It’s Bowling Season!
If you me or have ever listened to me on the radio you probably know I have done a little bit of bowling in my day. Ok, I have done a lot of bowling! It has become a love/hate relationship, but mostly hate over the last few years. It had become a job for me and I actually dreaded the thought of it, but bowling season is here, and for the first time in a long time I am ready!
Delaney Wadsworth Family’s Home Burglarized Just Over One Year After Her Passing
This story truly begs the question, what is wrong with some people? It happens more often then we like to think it does, but burglary is way too prominent in our society. I guess some folks never had their mama tell them one of the most basic rules in life... If it ain't yours don't touch it! To make the story of this robbery even worse, it happened to a family who is all too familiar to loss.

Shawn Patrick’s Video Series Called Shawn’s Sludge [VIDEO]
If you have tuned into the Good Morning Guys show this week, you have probably heard an unfamiliar voice, me. Although I am no Brian Gary I sure enjoying having the opportunity to fill in when he or Todd is out. When I am not filling in for those guys I do my own radio show, and sometimes I get creative and put together video blogs in a series I call Shawn's Sludge. Check it out here...
Does Todd Owe Shawn Donuts, You Decide [POLL]
Yesterday Todd and I bet on whether or not I could get a date with up and coming country singer, Maggie Rose. If I got a date with her, Todd owed me one million donuts, and if I failed I owed Todd a single donut. Maggie came to the Boot Grill and preformed for us last night, and I did indeed pop the question. Now we need you to help us decide whether or not Todd owes me the donuts...
Shawn Patrick is Balding [VIDEO]
If you were listening this morning, you may have heard Todd, Susan, and I talking about my most recent issue -- balding. After I cried a little bit talking about how my love life was ruined forever, I had quite a few fine folks call and tell me that bald is beautiful. Now I am considering going home and taking the Bic razor to the head and ending my fight once and for all, but first I made a littl
2nd Annual Kevin Risk Memorial Run Sunday September 9th
There is nothing that means more to me than our children, so when there is a child that is hurting or needs our help I love nothing more than to lend my hand. The Kevin Risk Memorial Benefit Run was designed just for that reason -- to help kids in need. This year the funds raised will benefit 4-year-old Nasyah who is one of only 200 kids in the U.S. battling a disorder called Partial Trisomy 9. Jo
The Million Doughnut Question – Can Shawn Get a Date With Country Singer Maggie Rose? [POLL]
You hear about it all the time, beautiful country singers falling for young, skinny DJ's with deep voices... Ok maybe not, but that could change tonight. It is a common happening for bets to take place in the K99 studio, but the most recent bet between Todd Harding and myself has a lot riding on it, one million doughnuts! If I can get just a single date with up and coming country singer Maggie Ros
Free Fun – Tubing the Poudre River
Summer is almost over, but that doesn't mean we have to hunker down inside just yet. It also doesn't mean that you have to go spend a bunch of money, or any money at all doing something fun. A short drive up the Poudre Canyon with the inner tube of a tire makes for a few hours of free fun in the sun.
Fort Collins Electric Bills Shockingly High
As temperatures in Northern Colorado start to fall one would probably think that the number on the on bill from the electric bill would shrink as well. That is not the case for many Fort Collins residents this year. Instead, Fort Collins residents are seeing electric bills that have doubled or even tripled from earlier this year.
How Dierks Bentley Made Shawn Patrick Tear Up At Red Rocks [VIDEO]
First off, if you haven't been to a Dierks Bentley show, you need to go. He and his band put 150% into all of their live shows, but they may have kicked in a little extra last night (8/16/12) at Red Rocks. Dierks constantly reminded the sellout crowd how proud he was to play at his favorite outdoor venue, and it showed. There was one special moment, only the second time Dierks had ever done it as
Denver Broncos Training Camp a Must For Football Fans [PICTURES]
As a kid I remember going to Denver Broncos Training Camp a few times when the team was still using the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley as their home for camp. But a number of years back, the team moved camp to their headquarters in Denver at Dove Valley. Since then it really wasn't a thought to go all the way to Denver to watch practice (we talkin' bout practice after all). But, our ne
Don’t Forget What You Have In Your Backyard
There is no denying that life is busy, and at times it is easy to take for granted what we have. After a long week filled with work, stress, kids, and whatever else you may have, it is easy to let the couch get the best of you. I am as, or more, guilty than the next guy. So sometimes it takes an experience like the one I had this weekend to remind us of just how beautiful and how much our wonderfu
