Michael Cuddyer was out of the lineup last night with an injured toe, but it wasn't enough to keep him from delivering a pinch-hit single in the ninth to drive in the winning run and lift the Colorado Rockies (7-6) over the Milwaukee Brewers (6-8) 4-3 at Miller Field. Juan Nicasio recorded his first win following last year's season-ending neck injury, throwing 6 1/3 innings, leading the Colorado Rockies (6-6) to an 8-4 win over the San Diego Padres (3-10) at Coors Field. The Rockies, who went 5-4 in their first homestand of the season, hit the road for a weekend series that starts tomorrow night in Milwaukee.

Cool, Wet Weekend Ahead
It appears that much needed moisture will arrive just in time to scramble any outdoor weekend plans you might have.
