Winter Weather Advisory Til Noon Today (Wednesday, December 7)
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon today for Northern Colorado. Snow will be decreasing through this morning, but an additional 1 to 2 inches is expected for a storm total of 4 to 10 inches. Up to a foot of snow is expected over the mountain passes of Colorado by this afternoon.
How Much Snow Did We Get Last Night
The Denver Metro area got 1 to 3 inches of snow Tuesday night. Northern Colorado had 2 to 5 inches. The Foothills received 2 to 8 inches of snow. Very cold temperatures in the teens are expected today with our first below zero temperatures of the year coming early Thursday morning. Wind chills could be 10 to 20 below zero.
Winter Driving
Visibility will continue to be reduced to half a mile early this morning, improving by mid-morning. Travel will be hazardous this morning due to snow-packed roads and reduced visibility.
