We are slowly making our way through summer. Before you know it, these warm temps will be behind us and autumn will be here in Colorado.

Besides getting all of our hoodies and beanies ready for the fall months, we also have to prepare for the clocks to fall back.

After doing this whole Daylight Saving Time thing for my entire life, I still get a bit confused as to the details of it all.

On the morning of November 2nd at 2:00 AM local time, the clocks will fall back an hour, marking an end of Daylight Saving Time for the year. Both sunrise and sunset will be a full hour earlier on November 2nd, according to reports.

We spring forward every single March.

So, you'll be able to enjoy more daylight in the morning, but start losing some in the evening.

Good news if you like morning walks, but bad news if you hate driving in the dark.

History of Daylight Saving Time In America

People in the United States have been observing Daylight Saving Time for over a hundred years.

The first time that America officially started changing the clocks up like this was in 1819.
